Yes, provided your cameras or existing video equipment supply supported network video streams. We recommend a compatibility assessment before purchase.
Nabik can work with compatible IP cameras from different manufacturers. Compatibility depends on the specific model, firmware, supported streaming protocols, and network accessibility rather than the brand alone.
Analog cameras cannot connect directly like IP cameras. Certain analog systems may work through compatible DVRs or video encoders that provide accessible network video streams.
Some Wi-Fi cameras are compatible if they expose supported video streams and provide a stable network connection. Cameras restricted to proprietary cloud applications may not work.
Not if your existing cameras are compatible and suitable for your requirements. We can evaluate the available equipment before recommending additional purchases.
The number depends on the AI Box model, video resolution, frame rate, detection workload, recording requirements, and storage capacity. Our team recommends a suitable configuration based on your intended usage.
Yes. Lighting, camera angle, resolution, compression, environmental conditions, and obstructions can affect detection performance. Even high-resolution cameras cannot guarantee accurate results in every situation.
Not absolutely. Preliminary compatibility checks use the information and access available at the time. Some limitations may only become apparent during detailed testing or installation, particularly with restricted firmware, network configurations, and proprietary features.
Nabik supports AI-based object detection, including people and vehicles. Other supported object types depend on the installed AI model, software version, hardware, and selected configuration.
Face recognition and number plate recognition are separate capabilities from ordinary person or vehicle detection. They should not be assumed to be included unless expressly confirmed in your purchased configuration.
Yes. Nabik can be configured to send event notifications through supported integrations, including Telegram. Successful delivery depends on connectivity, the configured integration, and third-party service availability.
Nabik does not currently provide its own dedicated mobile application. Depending on the configured access method, customers may use a compatible web browser and supported notification integrations.
Remote access may be configured through a suitable secure connection. Its availability depends on your network, internet service, equipment, and the remote-access arrangements included in your service.
The software supports configurable continuous, motion-based, and event-based recording. The options available depend on your setup and the storage resources provided.
Retention periods depend on the selected settings, available storage, camera bitrate, and recording mode. Older footage may be automatically deleted according to those settings. No universal retention period applies to every Nabik installation.
Where recording export is enabled, users can save selected footage. Important recordings should be exported before their configured retention period expires.
Yes. Compatible Nabik installations can integrate with Home Assistant for monitoring and automation. Additional software, networking, and configuration may be required.
No. Like other AI surveillance systems, Nabik may occasionally generate false alerts or fail to detect events. Performance depends on camera positioning, lighting, weather, obstructions, software configuration, and hardware limitations. AI monitoring should not be treated as a guaranteed substitute for other appropriate security measures.
No. Our standard service focuses on the Nabik AI Box, compatible camera connections, surveillance software, and related configuration. Physical camera mounting, cabling, electrical work, and other CCTV installation services are outside our standard scope unless separately agreed.
Our team reviews the agreed requirements, confirms technical feasibility, coordinates any necessary survey, finalizes the scope, and schedules AI Box setup and software configuration according to the agreed service arrangement.
An on-site survey or setup visit may be arranged when required. Availability, scheduling, location coverage, and any applicable charges will be confirmed before the visit.
Nabik can perform supported local processing over a suitable local network. However, internet connectivity is required for certain remote-access features, Telegram notifications, external integrations, and online services.
Supported local monitoring and recording functions may continue without internet when the AI Box, cameras, and local network remain operational. Internet-dependent features will be unavailable until connectivity is restored.
If the AI Box, cameras, or network equipment lose power, the affected monitoring and recording functions may stop. An appropriate UPS or backup power system is recommended where continuous operation is important.
Setup time depends on the number of cameras, equipment compatibility, network conditions, site readiness, and requested configurations. Any estimated completion time will be provided based on the agreed scope.
Relocation may be possible, but camera connections, networking, hardware capacity, and service conditions may need to be reassessed. Contact our team before moving an active system.
In a standard local-recording configuration, footage is stored on storage connected to the Nabik AI Box. Actual storage arrangements, including any external or cloud integrations, depend on your purchased configuration.
Standard local processing does not inherently require uploading all camera footage to a cloud service. However, some enabled integrations, remote services, or notification features may transmit selected data externally. Customers should review their configured services and privacy information.
Authorized technical personnel may need temporary access to video streams, settings, or recordings when troubleshooting or providing agreed support. The purpose and scope of such access should be limited to the required service and handled according to the applicable privacy and support arrangements.
The customer is responsible for authorizing users, protecting account credentials, and informing us when access needs to be changed. Prabotics Labs is responsible for applying the security measures within its agreed service scope.
No internet-connected or networked technology can guarantee absolute security. Appropriate passwords, software updates, restricted access, secure networking, and other protective measures are necessary to reduce risks.
Local recording does not automatically mean that a separate backup exists. Backup and off-device storage must be specifically configured or arranged. Customers should not assume footage will remain recoverable after hardware failure, accidental deletion, or physical damage.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their camera placement, recording activities, notices, employee monitoring, and sharing of footage comply with applicable laws and permissions. Prabotics Labs is responsible for complying with the legal obligations that apply to its own processing and services.
No. Nabik is a monitoring and surveillance assistance tool. It cannot guarantee the prevention, detection, or successful investigation of theft, accidents, unauthorized entry, or other incidents.
No continuous human monitoring or emergency response service is included unless expressly agreed in a separate service contract. Automated event detection should not be confused with a staffed security monitoring center.
AI performance can be affected by poor lighting, weather, camera placement, network problems, object obstructions, detection settings, and hardware limitations. Our support team can help review configurations, but no adjustment can guarantee flawless detection.
Notifications and integrations that depend on external services may become delayed or unavailable because of outages, service changes, account restrictions, or internet problems. Prabotics Labs cannot control the operation of independent third-party services.
Contact technical support with the issue description and relevant device information. Our team will help assess the problem and explain the available repair, replacement, or troubleshooting options under the applicable warranty and service terms.
Footage may be lost because of storage failure, power interruptions, incorrect configuration, hardware damage, accidental deletion, or other causes. Customers should maintain suitable backups of important recordings. Any legal responsibility for data loss will be determined by the applicable agreement and law, rather than assumed to be entirely excluded.
Supported software updates may be made available as part of the applicable service arrangement. Update frequency, eligibility, compatibility, and the inclusion of new capabilities are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in the purchased plan.
